Calm a forgotten health

“Stay calm inside! You will then see that outside storms of life, even the most terrible ones, will turn into soft winds”

- Mehmet Murat ildan

Life throws everything at us and at some point, without us realising, our health, fitness, diet and movement all start to get worse and that has a direct impact on how we feel.

We get injured and our body can’t fight against the injury as we are not in optimal health to recover.
So, we resort to medical intervention or pharmaceutical drugs, knowingly that should be 'plan D' at best.

So “Stay Calm Inside”; Stay calm when you are surrounded by foods that you know are going to affect your waist line and overall health.

Solution – Pick foods like those that grow in the Mediterranean. Vegetables, fruits, fish, healthy fats and simply avoid breads, pasta and sugary foods.

So “Stay Calm Inside”; Stay calm when you have no time to exercise because work, the kids, the partner, the family are pulling you from pillar to post.

Solution – Workout at home before the family wake up, go for long walks [they are great for the mind and body], go for a swim, ... You don’t need to go crazy just find 30 minutes a day to do something.

So “Stay Calm Inside”; Stay calm when life is throwing everything at you and give your body what it needs to deal with more stressful situations.

Solution – You know you have to up your good fats, so think calmly how you can add the fats whilst life is crazy. Eat up to 3 portions of oily fish a week or take a high concentration Omega-3, like Krill Oil.

So “Stay Calm Inside”; Stay calm when you get injured and you have an inflamed joint, you can work around it.

Solution - Rest the joint, work around it and eat the foods that support reduction in inflammation. Eat foods that contain a lot of turmeric, yes one of the main ingredients of Indian cooking or use a Turmeric supplement.

Most of all... Just stay calm.

You will then see that outside storms of life, even the most terrible ones, will turn into soft winds”

When you stay calm, you start to see what you can do and how you can take control over everything that comes at you.
Then you suddenly feel better, look better and move better.
